Work with us
AMA’s International Cooperation
Our philosophy is to always assign the right expert for any particular activity in each of our projects. Are you a specialist in the field of Agriculture and Rural Development interested in undertaking a Twinning mission on one of our projects? Below, we will try to answer some of the questions you might have. What main qualifications are you looking for?
Our experts usually come from public administrations and organizations known as "mandated bodies", dealing with agricultural and/or rural development administration. This includes experts in programming, monitoring, evaluation, communication, internal auditing, accounting, IT, agricultural statistics, FADN, education, advisory services etc. When can I apply for a position as a short-term expert? Which organizations are eligible?
Short-term experts must be employees of either public administrations or mandated bodies. Private consultants are not eligible. In which countries are short-term expert missions offered?
In recent years, our work was and continues to be focused on the western Balkan countries such as Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia and Croatia. In practical terms, how does a Twinning assignment for a new specialist work?
Since AMA engages in long-term planning, and a pool of experts must be in place before the beginning of a project, you cannot expect an immediate assignment. The usual steps for new experts are as follows:- Contact us by sending your CV in Europass format
- We will assess your qualifications and contact to inform you about your chances and a possible time frame for an assignment
- AMA will handle all the necessary administrative work in order to free your time for the technical work in the beneficiary country.
- All our short-term experts’ journeys are covered by AMA travel insurance.
