AMA was selected for a Twinning light project in Serbia

AMA was selected for the Twinning light project “Assistance to the Managing Authority of the Serbian MAEP in negotiation and accreditation of the IPARD 2014-2020 Program” (SR/2012/IB/AG/01TWL).

The overall objective of this project is to assist the preparation of the Serbian Agriculture and Rural Development Sector for the implementation of the EU´s Common Agricultural policy (CAP) by strengthening the institutional capacity of the Managing Authority to implement the RD component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPARD).

The project will be implemented together with experts from the Bavarian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and is envisaged to start in March 2015.

The main project activities will include the finalisation of the IPARD II Program and the preparation of MA for National Accreditation. The project will also support the Serbian Advisory Service to be prepared to assist the implementation of the IPARD II Program.
